ETOPS Course

This on-line course covers regulations and policies governing Extended Twin-Engine Operations, notably:

  • Weather minima
  • Selection of alternate airports
  • Fuel requirements

The course emphasises practical in-flight considerations, including use of Equal Time Points (ETPs), MEL / CDL Items, component failures and diversions.

The ETOPS course is intended for experienced corporate or airline pilots requiring initial or recurrent ETOPS training.

The on-line course is a self-paced, self-instructional modularised course designed to deliver approximately 1.25 hours of instruction.
