Our History
TrainingAir was founded with the aim of providing a quality training experience to the pilot community. Since receiving ATO approval in 2014, we have delivered numerous type rating courses and TRI / SFI initial and refresher courses on the Airbus A320 & A330 for private and airline clients. TrainingAir was the first Danish ATO to propose a fully integrated MCC-A320 Type Rating Course in 2016.
We have vast experience dealing with complex licence renewals and endorsements, particularly where recognition of 3rd country ratings are required. In response to the devestating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we started the #staycurrent programme, offering licence renewals and revalidations, delivered in an airline-like environment, in keeping with our core values. Licence revalidation & renewal is offered on Airbus A320 / A330 / A340 / A350, & Boeing 737.
2023 was another important year for TrainingAir: we switched all our courses to Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBTA), an integral part of the Evidence Based Training philosophy which EASA is driving. In changing to this approach, we focus on training for resilience while building the competencies of our trainees though self awareness and personal development.

By regularly flying with airlines across Europe, our team are always aware of the latest changes to operational procedures and are able to share their recent flying experience with our trainees.
